McIntosh - Our Southern Georgian Bay Apple Growing District produces the ‘all-time favourite’ premium quality McIntosh, famous for its tart-sweet taste. Our ‘premium quality’ Mac is a delight to savour as a crisp nutritious fat free snack, the key ingredient of a delightful salad, the main ingredient of a special pie, or as an exquisite sauce. The McIntosh has a green skin with a heavy red cheek on one side; white flesh, is mildly tart to sweet as it ripens; a firm apple. Our Southern Georgian Bay Mac is available from mid September until June of the following year. This ‘ premium quality’ McIntosh is currently being packaged in 3, 5, & 1Olb Polybags; Cell Packs; Tray Packs; 3 litre, 4 litre, & 4 quart Baskets; 3lb. and 8-apple Overwraps; Bushels; and l/2 Bins.

Red Delicious - This variety is crunchy, sweet, and best eaten out-of-hand or in a salad. A Red Delicious has a deep red skin, an elongated shape, creamy white flesh; and is normally available from October until July. Red Delicious are packaged in 3, 5 and 10lb Polybags; Tray Packs; 3lb Overwraps; Bushels; and 1/2 Bins.

Idared - Absolutely scrumptious baked, super apple pie, and great fresh eating! The Idared has a bright red skin with greenish-yellow patches, white flesh, a tart taste, and is best ‘stored’ until Christmas. This great variety is normally available from late October until July. We pack the Idared in 3, 5 and 1Olb Polybags; Cell Packs; Tray Packs; 3lb and 8-apple Overwraps; Bushels; and 1/2 Bins.

Spartan - This variety is a favourite for fresh eating, pies and sauces. The Spartan has a dark red skin, white flesh, fairly tart to sweet when ripened, wonderfully crisp; and is normally available from late September until June. Spartans come in 3, 5, & 1Olb Polybags; Cell Packs; Tray Packs; 3lb and 8-apple Overwraps; Bushels; and l/2 Bins.

Empire - This delightful ‘blend’ of McIntosh and Red Delicious is quickly gaining in popularity. The Empire is fabulous for fresh eating, and super in salads or sauces. An apple with a dark red blush skin and creamy flesh, is slightly tart, and quite firm. This McIntosh x Red Delicious cross is normally available from late September until the following June, and is currently packaged in 3,5, & 1Olb Polybags; Cell Packs; Tray Packs; 3lb and 8-apple Over-wraps; Bushels; and l/2 Bins.

Northern Spy - A Spy that really enjoys our 44 30’ North Latitude. A Northern Spy apple pie should be one of life’s pleasurable experiences! This apple is also great for sauces and baking. A red striped skin with a yellowish background, tart taste, and yellowish flesh, all combine to describe this true ‘Northerner’. Spys are normally available from October until April. The Northern Spy is packed in 3, 5, & 1Olb Polybags; Tray Packs; Bushels; and l/2 Bins.

Cortland - A very popular variety! Wonderful for fresh eating, pies and salads. Cortland slices will resist browning and stay white in salads. A crisp, red blush skinned, mildly sweet apple with white flesh. This variety is available in the Southern Georgian Bay Area starting late September. They are a Fall-Time apple and sell very quickly. Then they’re gone until a new crop arrives! Cortlands are usually available in 3, 5, & 1Olb Polybags; Tray Packs; Bushels; and l/2 Bins.

Jerseymac - A delightful McIntosh type that matures by mid August. The Jerseymac is great for fresh eating, salads, pies and sauces - and does a super job of keeping the ‘Mac’ fans satisfied until the heralded arrival of the Late Mac! This apple has a solid red blush and is reasonably firm. Our Jerseymacs are only available for a short window-of-time, from mid August until mid September. Jerseymacs are packed in 3,5, and 1Olb Polybags; 3lb and 8-apple Overwraps; 3L, 4L, & 4qt Baskets; Tray Packs; Cell Packs; and Bushels.

Paulared - A delight to behold, and another early arrival that must be savoured while it’s available, only from mid August until mid September. This beauty has a dark red blush over a light yellow ground colour, and has a white flesh that is mildly tart; to be enjoyed for fresh eating, in salads, as a superb sauce or an equally superb pie. Golden Delicious - An excellent dessert apple for fresh eating; also to be used in salads, pies and sauces; and don’t neglect baked! A Golden Delicious has a yellow skin, an elongated shape, yellow flesh, tart to sweet taste, firm; and keeps its shape when cooked. This golden honey is normally available from October until January. Golden Delicious are available in 3,5, & 1Olb Polybags; 3lb Overwraps; Tray Packs; and Bushels.
